Biral visibility and present weather sensorVisibility range: 10m ÷ 50km (selectable full scale 2km, 10km, 20km, 32km or 50km), recognizing the type and amount of precipitation (presence of fog, haze, smoke, sand, drizzle, rain, snow and precipitation). This sensor has features of disdrometer and visibility measuring in a compact solution. Infrared measuring principle with distinction of phenomena according to WMO regulations reference table 4680 and 9328 ICAO standard. Out standard: RS485 (with heater option available and analogical output). This sensor is suitable for applications in various fields of environmental monitoring, and is particularly suitable for the AWOS weather stations in the aeronautical field. Easy to install, requires no periodic calibration and is protected from overvoltage and corrosive agents. The sensor is designed for mounting on pole by two collars adjustable (included).

Shielded multi-core cable for indoor/outdoor use, suitable for hot and cold climates.

With IP68 waterproof connector for connecting the sensor, and PS2 plug connector for direct connection to the data logger or with terminal sleeves for insertion into the terminal blocks.

Our cables are standard for most our sensors.

Bracket / Arm Support

Fixing system for Nesa’s sensors, composed by an arm of different lengths (50cm, 90cm, 150cm) and thermoplastic resin clam for external, able to withstand to extreme temperature and to solar radiation.

Two stainless steel screws for the tightening of the clamp on the sensor complete the equipment.

MCS Signal Conditioning Module

Single channel module for conditioning digital and analog electrical signals. Fully programmable for binding input/output with the USB interface available as an option.
